December NTAAC Business Lunch Meeting

The NTAAC business meeting was held at Fadi's Mediterranean Cafe. We were able to snag a table large enough for all of us to squeeze onto, and after snarfing down a few plates of hummus and falafel, we got down to business. Topics and ideas flew around the table.

First topic of note was the January NTAAC lecture held at the Nasher Sculpture Center. Maria Sheets will be talking about her experience with the fire at the Biblical Art Center that completely gutted the building. More on that event coming soon.

From there we brain stormed about other events NTAAC has planned for the 2012 calender. Lectures, workshops, tours, movie nights, and of course lunches.

The new NTAAC blog was presented to the board for their review. All were pleased and very happy to  finally have something more solid than just a few pages on Facebook and Linked In.

The meeting moved on to NTAAC's involvement in the 2012 TAM conference, connecting with other museums and organizations, membership drives, and other topics such as glue, surface coatings, and things that fall apart. All very exciting.
