February meeting at the Dallas Public Library

Please join NTAAC at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library for a tour of the Texas/Dallas History Division, which is part of Special Collections and also houses the fine book collection. We'll take a look at the current exhibits as well as some treasured books and photographs, get a peek in their storage, and discuss digitization issues in making thousands of historic photographs and other materials accessible. If you've never been to the 7th floor of the Central Library, you are in for a treat! After the tour, we'll head over to the Farmer's Market for some BBQ at the famed Pecan Lodge.

When: Thursday, February 21st at 12pm (noon). Meet in the lobby on the 7th floor.
Where: Dallas Central Public Library, at the corner of Young and Ervay streets in downtown Dallas. 1515 Young Street Dallas TX 75201. Find directions here: http://dallaslibrary2.org/directions-central.php
